Hi! I’m Tamara Nederkoon, a self-taught artist from the Netherlands. I’ve been drawing all my life, but it wasn’t until a year ago that I finally found my own style. Before that, my art journey was quite challenging.

My work delves into themes of powerful warriors, mystical beings, and soft, ethereal figures, often blending earthy accessories and intricate details like flowing hair. I’m drawn to desaturated, pastel, and natural tones, creating a dreamlike atmosphere in each piece.

Being a full-time, self-employed artist has come with its challenges, but seeing my vision come to life has been incredibly rewarding. From my cozy home studio, I love sharing my creative process with my wonderful followers on Instagram.

Beyond my drawings, I’m also the creator of Designed by Mowies, where I design and sell my own crochet patterns and illustrations—now available here on my website!

Since 2014, I have also pursued my passion for animal photography under the name Tamara N Photography, capturing the beauty and essence of animals. Over the years, I’ve shared my work on Viewbug (23,000+ followers) and 500px, connecting with fellow photography enthusiasts. Now, I feel it’s time to take the next step and offer my fine art prints, which will soon be available in my shop as well.
